500g ready-made nacho shells



1 medium onion, chopped

2 fresh tomatoes, grated

2 Tbs tomato paste

2 Tbs vinegar

1 tsp garlic, crushed

½ tsp black pepper

2 Tbs green and red pepper, diced

2 Tbs oil

1 cup grated cheese


Heat the oil and add the crushed garlic. Sauté’ the onions. Add grated tomatoes and rest of ingredients except the cheese. Cook till sauce is done. Leave to cool. Just before serving, spread the nacho chips in a flat ovenproof plate. Pour topping over and sprinkle grated cheese over. Place in a hot oven for 10 minutes and grill for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
