FILLET SKEWERS
Ingredients
1kg fillet steak
1 ½ tsp garlic, crushed
¼ tsp Aromat
½ tsp tenderiser
1 tsp tomato paste
1 tsp coarse red chillies
1 tsp fresh chillies, pounded
2 Tbs oil
2 Tbs vinegar
1 Tbs parsley chopped finely or dry parsley
½ tsp salt
2 Tbs oil for frying
METHOD
Cut the fillet into ¾ cm thick slices and 6cm long pieces. Marinate in the above ingredients for 1-2 hours. At time of serving, thread 4-5 pieces of the fillet onto each wooden skewer. Heat the electric wok or frying pan. Grease slightly with the oil. Fry the skewers lightly for a minute on each side or until browned. Serve immediately. Optional: You can braai on charcoal as well.
