½ kg prawns, shelled, deveined and washed

¼ cup lemon juice

1 large onion, chopped

1 Tbs Spice world chillie powder

¼ tsp Spice world turmeric

½ tsp Spice world jeera

1 tsp tomato paste

½ cup grated tomatoes

½ cup shelled peas

3 Tbs coconut cream

½ garlic, crushed

½ cup oil

Salt to taste



Sauté onion in oil. When it begins to change colour, add all the ingredients except the prawns and coconut cream. Cook for 10-15 minutes. Add the prawns  and ¼ cup hot water and coconut cream. Let it simmer till gravy is thick. Serve with rice or chapattis.
